The results of the 1st competition dedicated exclusively to Asian wine and spirits which took place in the district of Fangshan, Beijing, on October 9 and 10, 2016 have been released. Three types of medals were awarded: Grand Prize, Gold and Silver.

The competition was managed by the communication’s agency Vinopres with 23 years’ expertise in wine, spirits and beer competitions (Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Spirits Selection by CMB, Concours Mondial du Sauvignon, Brussels Beer Challenge).
For this first competition, nearly 700 wines and spirits from Asian countries competed before a selection of the world’s finest judges. The asian origin of products competing and profiles of the judges are what makes the competition unique and a world premiere. These results will reap huge benefits for a wide range of Asian wine and spirits producers and distributors.
